NEAL BARTON - DRUMS

Started drumming age about 10.  1st kit - ancient red and sparkly!.  School band 'Kahouter', noticeable members Andy Crowdy (now ace jazz bassist) and Neil and Adam Buttery.  Now playing Rose Morris, White Marble.  Moved on to play for 7 years in 'Mulligan' playing Irish pubs and clubs in and around London and the S East.  Had a nice gold set of Premiers.  A sideways move then followed to the 'Collins Family' YEE HAW Country & Western band, but I was sacked after 6 months for refusing to wear plum coloured flares and embroidered shirt!  Sold me drums in 1983 and concentrated on racing sidecars.  After a chance conversation with Colin Philpott and his cousin Ed, I resumed playing at Colin's umpteenth retirement party, 18 months ago!
